The artistry behind Marvel’s Doctor Strange is virtually unparalleled within the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Scott Derrickson showcased some of the hypnotic imagery found within Steve Ditko’s runs of the Sorcerer Supreme, and displayed some impeccable visuals that blow almost every other comic book film out of the water.
Of course, not every design created for the film is used in the final cut, and with the amount of pure imagination put into bringing the story of Stephen Strange to the big screen, there are bound to be some designs and ideas left from the final product. ComicBookMovie has shared some unused concept art for the Zealots, and it bears a striking similarity to the female version of Death, whom Thanos (Josh Brolin) wants to court. You can take a look at the concept art right here.
CBM initially reported that the leaked concept art might have been for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, but has since been told that this was indeed unused concept art for the Zealots in Doctor Strange. What do you guys think of this concept art? Do you think that this can still serve as a bit of inspiration for what Death may look like in the MCU? Sound off in the comments below.
