Dora Milaje Teaming Up With Spider-Man & X-Men In New Comics

Dora Milaje Spider-Man X-Men ComicsMarvel Comics fans of the Dora Milaje (whom made their cinematic debut in Black Panther) are in luck. Later this year,three one-shot comics featuring the Dora Milaje will be released, and the Wakandan warriors will be alongside the likes of Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Avengers.

Will Moss, an editor at Marvel Comics announced the three new one-shot comics entitled, Amazing Spider-Man: Wakanda Forever, X-Men: Wakanda Forever and Avengers: Wakanda Forever. Each comic will be released on June, July and August respectively.

The Wakanda Forever series is written by Nnedi Okorafor and features artwork by Alberto Alburquerque with covers by Terry Dodson.

Are you excited to see more of the Dora Milaje involved in the comic books? Are you most excited to see them work with Spider-Man, the X-Men or the Avengers? Given that they were one of the highlights of the Black Panther movie, it makes sense that Marvel would want to emphasize their specialties even more through the publications.

Also, the Dora Milaje will hit the big screen once again when Avengers: Infinity War opens in theaters on April 27, 2018.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke,  Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and John Kani.

Here is the synopsis for Marvel’s Black Panther: 

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
