Doug Liman To Direct ‘Justice League Dark’

Variety has revealed that Edge of Tomorrow helmer Doug Liman has signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of Justice League Dark for Warner Bros.

The project will be produced by Scott Rudin. Michael Gilio is writing the script and it appears that his line up will consist of Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, Etrigan the Demon and “Det. John Constantine.” The report also reveals that the movie will be set in the DC Extended Universe.

Liman was previously attached to direct Gambit for 20th Century Fox, but the director has departed the X-Men spin-off in order to direct Justice League Dark instead.

As previously reported, Warner Bros. Animation is working on an animated Justice League Dark movie, which will be released later this year. The live-action movie doesn’t have an official release date yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
