Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has posted a teaser via Twitter for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, ahead of the international trailer debut this Wednesday. The 30-second video showcases more of the crazy set-pieces, rampaging jungle creatures, and eccentric banter between Johnson and co-star Kevin Hart that the first trailer showed back in June.
Even Hunt for the Wilderpeople‘s Rhys Darby shows up, so that might be pretty fun. You can watch the teaser below.

The Rock’s movies have not been the best of late, with this year’s “comedy” Baywatch bombing with critics and audiences, but we still feel the star’s passion for what he does. Hopefully Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a fun romp that people embrace, because The Rock deserves to be in good movies.
The film also stars Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Maribeth Monroe, Missi Pyle, Purab Kohli, Tim Matheson, Marc Evan Jackson, and Bobby Cannavale. Here’s the official synopsis:
Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play “Jumanji” – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle hits cinemas December 20.
10 Actors Who Should Play Shazam
Audiences have known that the Rock is playing Black Adam for years, but Shazam (a.k.a. Captain Marvel) still hasn’t been cast. Even though the movie has a director and is set to begin filming early next year, the title role is empty.
Plot details are still essentially non-existent except for the fact that Black Adam will not appear in this movie. Regardless, director David Sandberg, who just finished work on Annabelle: Creations, announced the start of pre-production at the end of August.
Rumors may be swirling online about one actor or another being up for the role, but as of now no one is the designated front runner. This role, which has huge potential to become a major franchise once the character is given a bigger spotlight, is still open for the taking.
