Dwayne Johnson To Help Usher New Age Of DC Films

Dwayne Johnson Black Adam DC FilmsWhile DC films have had a mixed response in the past, they’re hoping to change that with their upcoming releases. Geoff Johns has been brought in to be apart of the transition, with him beginning with some work on Wonder Woman. Despite Wonder Woman largely have been filmed prior to John’s engagement, he still likely had plenty of say. Dwayne Johnson, who will be playing Black Adam, has now come out to assure fans a new age of DC films will be approaching.

After Johnson’s meeting with DC the other day, he seemed very hopeful. The actor has now come out to Twitter once more to share his excitement.

DC fans will start to see this shift in tone in future movies. Exciting time and I’m fired up to help usher in a new DC era.

It’s unclear whether the actor will have a role in shaping DC’s upcoming slate on top of playing Black Adam, but his confidence is truly inspiring. Johnson has always been very excited to have a role in the DCEU, and only seems to be growing with excitement.

Fans will see truly whether a new age of DC films is approaching once Wonder Woman and Justice League hit this year. Hopefully both films will be revered by critics and audiences alike.

Just FYI, Geoff Johns had an office on the filming location for WW.

Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to the DCEU regardless.
