Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Receives A Superhero Inspired Gift

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be playing Black Adam in the DCEU but a recent Instagram posts made fans wonder for a moment, what is Johnson was our Man of Steel?

Johnson took to Instagram to show off his gift from Casey Patterson, a partner at Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions, which was an authentic Superman costume from Warner Bros. “What a gift! Right before our big#RockTheTroops?? show (airs Dec 13th), our@sevenbucksprod partner@caseypattersontv aka the “greatest gift giver in the world” brought this into my trailer,” wrote Johnson.

What a gift! Right before our big #RockTheTroops?? show (airs Dec 13th), our @sevenbucksprod partner @caseypattersontv aka the “greatest gift giver in the world” brought this into my trailer – an authentic Superman costume straight from the super secret vaults of Warner Bros. She didn’t give it to me to wear in our show, but rather she wanted me to know that this is how she see’s me in real life. I’m too smart to argue w/ a brilliant woman! ? Luv you Case for this “super cool” gift and luv you even more for not putting my kryptonite in this box as well. Though I’m not sure how that would even fit in a ??. #BigBrownBaldTattooedVersionOfSuperman #NoKryptoniteInSight #RockTheTroops?? DECEMBER 13th on @spike.

It looks like if Henry Cavill needs a body double that Johnson could be available and even have the costume to match. Cavill will continue playing the role of Superman in the upcoming Justice League film. Justice League starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko,  opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.

Johnson can be seen in the upcoming Jumanji and Fast 8.

The new ‘Jumaji’ reboot comes to theatres in 2017 after Sony delayed the film’s release amongst a list of other productions. The film also stars Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas and Jack Black.

Fast 8 hits theaters on April 14, 2017.
