Edward Norton Slams Marvel Over ‘Incredible Hulk’

Hulk Edward Norton Mark RuffaloAccording to Ryan Parker from The Hollywood Reporter, former Incredible Hulk actor Edward Norton took a shot at Marvel during the Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis.

Since the release of Incredible Hulk, Norton has not been shy about his issues with Marvel Studios. As you now know, Norton was replaced by Mark Ruffalo in The Avengers. Though many liked Norton’s interpretation of Hulk, Marvel Studios cited difficulties on set as the reason for his recasting. However, other’s speculated that Norton was too expensive to sign on for another movie. Marvel has denied this claim. Parkers tweet doesn’t go too far into the specifics of what Norton had to say:

The roast will premiere on Comedy Central on July 29th and it looks like we will have to wait until then to know what Norton had to say about Marvel. The animosity between the former Hulk and Marvel likely means that Norton’s jab was pretty brutal. Maybe Norton will take that anger and sign on to a role in a DC movie.
