Elton John In Talks To Join ‘Kingsman’ Sequel

The “Rocket Man” himself might be coming to Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Elton John has entered into talks to join the Kingsman sequel which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. Vaughn was the mastermind behind the 2014 action spy thriller.

It’s not clear what role John would be playing. There is always the possibility that John could be playing himself within the movie.

If John offically joins the cast, he will be along side Taron Egerton and new cast members Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Pedro Pascal. The question reminds if Kingsman star Colin Firth will return.

As previously reported, returning star Taron Egerton (Eggsy), took to Twitter to post the film’s official title and a new poster for the film which had a major hint towards a favorite character returning. The poster featured a pair of eyeglasses with one lens shot that seemingly that Colin Firth would be returning to the sequel and that his character might not be dead after all.

Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn opened up about the possibility of Firth returning.

“A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I’m coming up with ideas at the moment. If people buy tickets in America, I’ve got a feeling we’ll figure out a way for having Colin back.”

Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be arriving in theaters on June 16, 2017. Are you looking forward to the sequel? Would you like to see Fifth return? Comment below and let’s talk all things Kingsman related
