Star Wars The Last Jedi Luke Meets ReyStar Wars: The Last Jedi‘s long-awaited trailer is nearly here, making its premiere on ESPN’s Monday Night Football tonight before hitting the internet shortly afterward. The network itself is having fun with this opportunity by creating a Star Wars-inspired opening crawl for the occasion.

The short video more-or-less confirms that the trailer will arrive during the game’s halftime, as many fans suspected that it would. The move to put the trailer on ESPN should give the channel a well-needed boost in terms of viewership, which has been declining due to the rise of cord-cutters.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will rise on December 15, 2017. The movie’s cast includes Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Domhnall Gleeson as General Armitage Hux, Benicio Del Toro as “DJ”, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Jimmy Vee as R2-D2.
