Evan Peters Believes ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Will Be The Greatest In Franchise

Actor Evan Peters, recently sat down with Details to discuss the current season of his hit FX mini-series, American Horror Story: Hotel. During the interview, Peters briefly opens up on the newest X-Men installment, X-Men Apocalypse, in which he will reprise his role as the witty and scene-stealing speedster, Quicksilver.

It’s the biggest X-men film. It’s about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge.

Not only does the film sound like it’s much more grandiose than the others, but it also sounds like Quicksilver will have an even bigger presence.

The story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world.

Getting “sucked up” into madness seems to be Peters’ cup of tea. The 28 year old actor is better known for playing major roles in the wild, wacky and terrifying world of American Horror Story since the series began in 2011. However, Peters takes a dark turn in the “scariest seasons yet”, playing serial killer and hotel owner, James March (who by the way, sports the coolest old school mustache to date). Peters stars alongside a hefty group of actors including Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Denis O’Hare and Lady GaGa, in her breakout role as the Countess.

See what all the fuss is about and check into American Horror Story: Hotel on FX on Wednesday’s at 10 PM EST.

X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on May 26, 2016.
