Chris Evans Reveals Which Of The ‘Captain America’ Suits Is His Favorite

Captain America SuitsSince the character’s introduction in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Chris Evans has donned a number of different suits during his time as the character. But which of these is the actor’s favorite? While speaking with Cinemablend, Evans revealed that his personal favorite isn’t one of those that features the iconic red, white & blue color scheme.

I like the stealth suit from Cap 2. The dark, navy blue suit from the opening of Winter Soldier when I’m on the Lemurian Star, messing people up on that ship. And in the elevator! That’s my favorite. I have requested it every movie, but the people at Marvel really like a little red. They like a little red in there. Which is fine. It’s Cap; I get it.

While I was glad to see the red, white & blue return in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which is my personal favorite, definitely wouldn’thave been mad if they kept the “Stealth Suit” around for awhile. So, which suit is your favorite? Let us know in the comments section below.

I agree with Chris, thats definately my favorite suit also… he looks badass and more modern

Anything but the suit from the first Avengers movie! I kinda want to gouge my eyes out every time I see that atrocity…

      You’re clearly insane…

  • Rival X Jordan

    Age of Ultron suit

I love the AOU suit most because it’s basically the stealth suit which is a great design, but I really need the Captain America colours to make it Captain America.

  • I loved the AoU suit, but depending on how Civil War goes, a variant of that stealth suit may be in the cards. Least I’d hope so.

  • The best suit is the prototype WWII suit he steals from The Smithsonian to use in the final act of The Winter Soldier.

Unlike the suit from The First Avenger, it has the very important middle red stripe, but it keeps the comics-correct lighter blue.

The AoU suit I don’t like because of the stupid and annoying red piping around the star that extends to his shoulders. Why is that even there? Also, why aren’t the stripes solid or extend all the way down? Bad design.

The Civil War suit is the same as above minus the red piping (good), but also minus the white sleeves (bad).

So yeah… the best suit is still the suit he steals from the Smithsonian.

      Totally agree.

I think this and the CA1 suits are great because they make it look more like a military jumpsuit. I still like the more contemporary look of the SHIELD Agent suit the best.

How did the Avengers suit even get approved?

    • Stupid Phil Coulson… Fury’s little teacher’s pet.

    • Taggard Andrews

They needed a little old fashioned.

    The STRIKE suit is amazing

  • Jeff Forehand

I love the Smithsonian suit from the end of Winter Soldier, but a close second is his new one in Civil War.

  • My favorite look is the stage show sweater with the leather jacket that he wears on his first mission in CA:TFA.
