After Dave Bautista made it clear that he was interested in suiting up for Suicide Squad 2, some fan art was designed for the potential casting.
Once the news broke that former Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was in talks to write and possibly even direct the sequel to Suicide Squad, Batista made it known that he wanted to sign up for the team of DC Villains. The former WWE superstar has not been a fan of Disney firing the director and now, similar to how an athlete follows a coach in sports, Bautista is down for joining the world of DC films if that’s where Gunn ends up. In honor of this news, some fan artwork has the actor looking sharp as an infamous Batman villain.

Bautista as Bane is nothing short of perfect and would be a solid fit in the next lineup of the criminal team-up film. Bane was previously portrayed onscreen by actor Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises. That version was more grounded in Nolan’s realistic Gotham, this version looks to be staying true to the characters comic book origin. If Bautista does end up in the second Suicide Squad film, Bane would be a great choice for the performer to play.
