‘The Fate Of The Furious’ Expected To Remain At No. 1 For Third Week In A Row

Fate Furious Box Office

In its third week at the box office, The Fate of the Furious is expected to continue its reign. Holding onto the number one spot, despite new films opening in theaters this week, The Fate of the Furious raked in another $5.1 million at the Friday box office and it’s expected to make $18.5 million over the course of the weekend (the numbers will adjust a bit by Monday morning).

However, the film has dropped another 52% in its third week, but will have grossed $191.8 million at the domestic office by the end of the weekend.

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game — and the rest of the crew has been exonerated — the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

Directed by F. Gary Gray, the film stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell and Charlize Theron.

The Fate of the Furious is now playing in theaters.
