Final ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Trailer Released Online

Beauty and the BeastWith less than two months to go until the film arrives in theaters, Disney has officially released the final trailer for Bill Condon’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. You can watch the sneak peek below.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

The cast includes Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as LeFou, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Babette and Audra McDonald as Wardrobe.

Beauty and the Beast opens on March 17, 2017.

    I don’t really understand why everyone is so excited for this movie. It looks like a frame for frame remake of the cartoon. Nothing looks new about this. The other Disney adaptations at least felt like spinoffs or reimaginations of the material. I just don’t really get it.
