Finn Jones Says ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 Announcement Is Coming

While Netflix and Marvel TV have yet to renew Iron Fist for a season two, it appears that an announcement is on its way per Iron Fist star Finn Jones.

While Iron Fist was released on Netflix back in March, we have still not heard anything about a second season of the fourth Marvel Netflix series. Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have all been renewed for upcoming seasons, but so far the Danny Rand centered series hasn’t been renewed for another season.

But it appears that the chances for a season two of Iron Fist is looking very strong. At a recent convention, Finn Jones, who plays Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist, revealed that a season two announcement is coming “soon”.

“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.”

Marvel and Netflix’s The Defenders, stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios and Sigourney Weaver as the mysterious big bad, Alexandra.

Also set to appear in the series are Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.
