Maze Runner Movie Image Death Cure First Look Dylan O'BrienWith the third instalment in the Maze Runner franchise, The Death Cure, on the horizon, the first images from the movie have just been released online.

This first look has come after the film’s release date was set back, owing to lead actor Dylan O’Brien being seriously injured on set last year. While O’Brien’s injury caused production to be shut down for several months, the release date is now only set one month later than was originally planned, having been moved from January 2018 to February.

The official Maze Runner Twitter account has also teased the first trailer for the film is on its way.

The third film, based on the final book in James Dashner’s successful young adult series, will conclude the Maze Runner film series, resisting the temptation to follow the two-part finale trend of recent years. The film is set to pit O’Brien’s Thomas and his band of former Gladers against WCKD in a hunt for a cure to the Flare, in order to save people from being turned into zombie-like Cranks.

Teres Agnes actress, Kaya Scodelario, has previously referred to the film as a “a great goodbye to these characters” and suggested all the series’ unanswered questions thus far will find a resolution.

Do your research before publishing. It was NOT a motorcycle accident. Also, the movie was delayed a whole year, not just one month, and it’s not coming out in February. It was initially coming out in February 2017, then pushed to February 2018, and they now changed it to January 26, 2018.
