Supergirl: First Look At Jenna Dewan-Tatum As ‘Lucy Lane’

Earlier this month, we found out that Step Up star Jenna Dewan-Tatum would be playing Lois Lane’s sister, Lucy Lane in CBS’ Supergirl, and now Entertainment Weekly has revealed a first look photo at the actress as the character, who will make her debut in the third episode of the upcoming drama series.

Executive producer Ali Adler also weighed in on Lane’s role in the series, revealing that there are plans to introduce her father, General Sam Lane, and teased how important her role will be down the line, as she’ll develop a friendship with Melissa Benoist’s Kara Danvers.

We hope to explore the history that Lucy has with James Olsen — or, as Lucy knows him, Jimmy Olsen, I think we’re going to bring in her father. She not only plays a romantic foil with whatever Kara and James are brewing, but people will also be surprised that she’s really a woman’s woman. She and Kara develop their own friendship, too. We’re not just bringing her in to purposefully create tension. She serves a larger story drive.
