Only The Strong Survive In The First Full-Length Trailer For ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Following the release of the film’s first teaser poster yesterday, the first full-length trailer for Bryan Singer’s highly-anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse has now debuted. The footage is an extended look at what was shown at San Diego Comic-Con and looks great. Based solely on this trailer, it appears that this film might feature a bit more action than the previous entires in the franchise.

I personally believe Bryan Singer has delivered some of best comic book films to date and it appears that he is about to add another to the list next year. Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts on in in the comments section.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
