'Preacher' Recap: S1E10 'Call And Response' Heroic Hollywood 7
AMC has released the first official teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of the hit series Preacher teasing the mayhem to come.

You can watch it below.

Based on the DC Vertigo comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher was developed for television by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg with showrunner Sam Catlin. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios.

Rogen and Goldberg also exec produce with James Weaver under their Point Grey Pictures banner along with Catlin. Original Films’ Neal Moritz, Vivian Cannon, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin and Jason Netter exec produce as well.

Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy, with Ruth Negga as Tulip, and Graham McTavish as The Cowboy, aka The Saint of Killers. Season 2 has also added Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens and Julie Ann Emery as series regulars, while Malcolm Barrett, Ronald Guttman and Justin Prentice will appear as recurring characters. Here’s the official synopsis:

Preacher follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by the renegade spawn of an angel and demon and gains the power to control people with just a word. The series’ second season returns this summer and follows Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they embark on a road trip to find God, dealing with issues both worldly and other-worldly along the way.

Preacher returns for the 13 episode second season on Sunday, June 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Preacher as we learn it.
