Michael Bay’s triumphant return to the world of the Transformers is set to release its first trailer within the coming days. The Last Knight has done a fairly incredible job at not releasing any leaks or plot details ahead of its first trailer. The movie is rumoured to deal with time travel, and this would make a lot of sense, considering the Nazi-decorated home of Winston Churchill, as well King Arthur’s role in the movie. Now, I understand time travel is a tricky thing in movies, but for God’s sake? Time travelling Transformers? How can you not be excited!
The movie’s first trailer has officially been certified and rated by Consumer Protections BC (not a new character from the film). Apparently, the trailer will run for “2 minutes and 1 second.” So, we should probably expect some details in regard to the movie’s story, and what Optimus Prime and his team of Autobots will need to do to save humanity once more. The film is set to debut with an IMAX release fairly soon, and with Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them set to open next week, that looks like a safe bet. TFW2005 revealed that the trailer will be available online after it is screened in cinemas next week.
So, what do you guys think? Are you excited for another of Bay’s epic and mindless Transformers movies? Transformers: The Last Knight will star Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Stanley Tucci, Laura Haddock and Peter Cullen, as the voice of Optimus Prime.
