The end is nearing for the second season of CW’s The Flash as Barry Allen, the fastest man alive, must handle the latest challenges in his life after he was vaporized in last night’s episode, but as you can tell, he will be back. If you are a fan of the filmmaker Kevin Smith as well as of this show, then next week’s episode is going to be the perfect fit for you.
The CW has released official promotional images for the 21st episode of the second season titled “The Runaway Dinosaur” which was directed by Smith who is a huge fan of the series and is already set to return to direct another episode of The Flash in its third season this fall. In addition to that, the network released an extended trailer for the episode which, without going into spoilers, will have you speculate what the heck is going on next week. Be aware though of some possible minor spoilers as some familiar faces do show up in these images that you may not have expected.

The Flash, which has been renewed for a third season, airs on Tuesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
