‘The Flash’ EP Teases Upcoming Gorilla City Episode

The Flash EP Gorilla CityThe Flash will be dealing with a big Gorilla problem in the second half of Season 3 as Gorilla Grodd will be back for a two-episode arc that will also introduce Keith David as Solovar. In Entertainment Weekly’s latest edition of Natalie Abrams’ Spoiler Room, a fan asked for new details about the episode that will be set in Gorilla City. Abrams revealed the following quote from executive producer Aaron Helbing who is quite excited about it.

“The team will go to Gorilla City. We’ll see where Grodd was sent. We’ll see his standing amongst the other gorillas. There are some sequences in the two episodes that are unbelievable. They’re epic and unbelievable in scale and scope. I’ve never seen anything like it on television.”

The Gorilla two-parter is set to taking place in episode 13 and 14 which should start on Tuesday, February 21 as there won’t be a new episode on February 14.

DC COMICS’ GYPSY ARRIVES ON EARTH-1 – H.R.’s (Tom Cavanagh) past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead. Harry Jierjian directed the episode with story by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes and teleplay by Zack Stentz (#311). Original airdate 1/31/2017.”
