In just a few days, Barry Allen will be going up against Savitar one last time as they will have one final showdown in The Flash Season 3 finale. In Entertainment Weekly’s latest run of Spoiler Room with Natalie Abrams, a fan asked for some teases about the highly anticipated season finale “Finish Line” which is set to air on Tuesday, May 23.
Abrams chatted recently with show-runner and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg who chatted a bit about the season finale. While there will be a final battle between the two speedsters, Kreisberg stressed that the showdown won’t be like what people expect it to be just because Savitar is a version of Barry.
“There will be an ultimate showdown with Savitar in the finale, but their [battle] isn’t probably quite what you’re expecting. Just because [Savitar] is a version of Barry, it doesn’t play out exactly as people would expect.”
“Finish Line” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)
SEASON FINALE – With nothing left to lose, Barry (Grant Gustin) takes on Savitar in an epic conclusion to season three. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#323). Original airdate 5/23/2017.”
The Flash airs on Tuesday nights at 8/7c on The CW. Make sure to check back at Heroic Hollywood after every single episode of Season 3 for our weekly reviews.
