FOX Bringing ‘Gotham’ & ‘The Gifted’ To New York Comic-Con

FOX has announced panels for both Gotham and the upcoming X-Men drama The Gifted at New York Comic-Con next month.

Both panels will take place on Sunday, October 8 beginning with The Gifted on the Main Stage at 2:45 p.m. ET. The cast and producers will be on hand to present an exclusive first-look of the second episode of the series which follows District Attorney Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer) — who prosecutes mutants for a living — when he takes his family on the run after discovering his children’s mutant abilities.

The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Percy Hynes White. The series is executive-produced by Matt Nix, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jim Chory, Len Wiseman, and Marvel TV President Jeph Loeb.

Gotham will present a special video, followed by a Q&A with series stars and producers at 3: 40 p.m.

The Batman prequel series stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Erin Richards, Carmen Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Drew Powell, Maggie Geha, Benedict Samuel, and Michael Chiklis. The series is executive-produced by Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon, and John Stephens.

Gotham returns for its fourth season this fall on Thursday, September 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and The Gifted premieres on Monday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.

New Comic Book Shows That Are Coming In 2017-2018

The current TV season is pretty much done as several comic book and superhero TV shows have concluded their respective seasons. While the comic book TV landscape is already epic in scope, it’s only going to get bigger next year. The 2017-2018 television season is going to be one of the biggest seasons of all time for comic book adaptations for both DC and Marvel.
