New Set Photo Reveals Gabriel Luna’s Terminator In Mo-Cap Suit

Terminator Gabriel LunaGabriel Luna has taken to social media to show off a new look at his Terminator which will appear in the upcoming sixth installment of the franchise James Cameron began back in 1984.

Recent set photos revealed the first look at Luna’s Terminator earlier this week. The actor has now shared two new behind the scenes images, one of which reveals the actor sporting some motion capture pants, suggesting we could see the machine hidden beneath during the film’s sequences which are set in Mexico. You can check out the posts from Luna below.

Plot details are still under wraps but the film will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day that will introduce new characters to pass the baton to, featuring a young woman as the main character with supporting characters from both the past and the future. While the time period of the film remains unknown, set videos suggest the film takes place after Judgment Day, however, it’s possible the film could feature flashbacks or time travel.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are set to reprise their iconic roles as The Terminator and Sarah Conner respectively, along with Mackenzie Davis, Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta joining the franchise.

James Cameron returns to produce the film which is being directed by Tim Miller. David S. Goyer (Batman Begins), Charles Eglee (Dark Angel) and Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) developed the script, however, Billy Ray (The Hunger Games) was brought on board to do a rewrite. The goal is to launch a trilogy made up of films that can stand on their own while simultaneously forming an overarching storyline.

Production is underway with filming taking place in several locations, including Budapest, Hungary, and Spain.

Terminator 6 hits theaters November 22, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the sixth installment of the Terminator franchise as we learn it.
