‘Game Of Thrones’: Emilia Clarke On Her Emotional Final Scene

Game of Thrones HBO Emilia Clarke Game of Thrones will premiere its final season in 2019 and fans everywhere are dying to know any details they can get their hands on in regards to what happens. Emilia Clarke, who plays the fan favorite Khaleesi, recently disclosed how emotionally impacted she was when filming her final scenes of the series.

Clarke has been recently doing a press run for her upcoming Star Wars film Solo, where she is definitely asked about everything that she is allowed to tell fans about the final season of Game of Thrones. When doing a cover story for Vanity fair, Clarke had this to say on filming her final moments from the iconic HBO series.

“they f—ed me up … knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…”

That was all that was said by the Mother of Dragons in referring to her final momenst as the character which may take her down a path that people are definitely not expecting. Khalessi left fans in an interesting place when they last saw her having had just hooked up with her nephew John Snow and will soon be getting the news her fallen dragon is now a minion of the dreaded Night King. All this and learning Cersei is planning to double-cross her could be what sends Khalessi over the edge and make her do something she may regret. All this is just speculation, but Clarke has definitely lit a fire under the curiosity of audiences everywhere.

The rightful Queen of Westeros has been teasing at an epic final run on other appearances as well. The actress told GMA:

“It really is the most heartbreaking thing to be filming the last of anything. I’ve become an emotional wreck on set. They’re like ‘Emilia…it’s okay,’ and I’m like, ‘But it’s the last time!’”

The Breaker of Chains also discussed fans possible reactions to the end of GOT to The Herald Sun via Digital Spy:

“People will scream, and people will say, ‘That’s exactly what I wanted. And some people will go, ‘Huh?’ — my mum, probably.”

While most fans are disappointed and will most likely be going through Westeros withdrawals waiting until 2019 for Game of Thrones final season, from what Clarke has hinted at it seems it will all be worth the wait. Fans will get to see the epic saga of The Song of Fire and Ice comes to a close when the final epsiodes of Game of Thrones arrive on HBO sometime in 2019.

Previous1 of 11

Thanos Marvel DC Comics Darkseid GalactusThanos may have just taken down some of Marvel’s finest superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War, but he’s not the deadliest villain in comics. Both DC and Marvel are full of characters who are more powerful than the Mad Titan.

Admittedly, whenever Thanos is in possession of all six infinity stones he is the most powerful being in the universe, but anyone can harness that power if they successfully gather all the necessary components. If anything, Thanos is just incredibly patient and willing to wait to achieve his goals, a trait not many supervillains in DC or Marvel have. With the gauntlet, Thanos is essentially an immortal God who can snap his fingers and turn entire worlds to dust, but without it he’s just another villain who wants to rule the universe. He’s clearly a strong and terrifying guy, but if he were to face any of these villains without his Gauntlet, Thanos would be in big trouble.
