‘Game Of Thrones’: Sophie Turner Blasts Littlefinger Defenders

Game of Thrones Sophie Turner is as fierce in real-life as the young woman she plays on Game of Thrones. This week on Twitter, the woman behind Sansa Stark stood up for her character against people defending Littlefinger in the wake of his grisly fate in the season finale.

Turner argued that Littlefinger deserved his comeuppance because he had been hurting Sansa all along. Regardless of his personal feelings for her, she was just another pawn in his schemes. Check out her full tweeted response below:

Turner was not done just yet. When the argument was raised that Lord Baelish did in a way help the Starks by providing aid in the Battle of the Bastards,  she replied that what Littlefinger did was not necessarily out of the kindness of his own heart:

Unfortunately, we will not get to see the fallout from Littlefinger’s death until the show’s 8th and final season, which could be arriving as late as 2019.

What do you think, was Littlefinger treated unfairly at the end? Sound off in the comments below!

7 Epic Things Likely To Happen In ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8

Previous1 of 8

Game of Thrones Daenerys Targaryen The Night King Jon SnowGame of Thrones season seven is done, so now audiences have to wait for about a year or so to find out what the epic ending will be. While that may seem like a lot of time, just remember book readers have been waiting six years to find out things that were given away in scenes filled with poorly written exposition.

Regardless, season eight is set to be quite explosive! Not only will audiences be treated to watching the fall of the Night King, but Cersei Lannister is likely to finally learn how cruel karma can be. There are gonna be small, emotional moments like the reunion between Bran and Jon and massive fight scenes like the confrontation between Theon and Euron Greyjoy. No matter what happens, fans will have to accept that this is the end of the Game of Thrones story. Hopefully, the team behind the biggest TV phenomenon in decades will bring everything to an exciting, well written conclusion!
