George Miller Confirms DC Meetings; Won’t Direct ‘Man Of Steel’ Sequel

A short while back word got out that Warner Bros. had been meeting George Miller in hopes of having the director direct one of their upcoming DC projects. The belief that the time was that Miller would be the man to helm the Man Of Steel sequel. The director had even been spotted on the set of the upcoming Suicide Squad. While speaking with Digital Spy, the director did confirm that his meetings regarding directing a Warner Bros. & DC project did indeed happen, but that he has ultimately decided against making it his next project. Miller added the following statement:

I hope the next film I make is a very small film without any special effects and not many stunts.

Miller did go on to talk about being a fan of DC Comics and praising Snyder’s work in the DCEU, so while he’s not interested at the moment, there’s still a chance he could direct one in the future. Let us know what you think about it in the comments below.
