There’s been a lot of talk about George Miller and Superman recently. A short while back it was rumored that the director was the front-runner to direct a planned Man Of Steel sequel for the studio and he has since gone on to deny that. It’s worth noting though that denials aren’t always fact. But we will talk about that more later. This isn’t the first time that Miller would have taken a crack at the DC Comics character as he was at point working on a Justice League film that was eventually scrapped. While speaking with IGN recently, Miller commented on that project and revealed what he would have done different with his take on Superman.
Miller is well known for his use of practical effects in his films. Would he have gone practical or would he have leaned on CG in order to bring the characters powers to life on the screen? Miller had the following to say regarding that matter.
When asked about the rumors that he may be directing the sequel to Man Of Steel, the director denied the rumors but the manner and way that he did it is a bit questionable. Perhaps the director is actually just denying his involvement with the project until it’s officially confirmed.
Myself? I’m not buying the denial anymore. Let us know what you think of Miller’s comments and whether or not you think he actually is involved with the project in the box below.
