A brand new clip has been released from next week’s episode of Star Wars Rebels, a two-parter entitled “In the Name of the Rebellion.”
The clip, entitled “How You Choose To Fight,” is a classic example of the argument of taking action versus seeking a peaceful way of ending the war. It beings with a quiet disagreement on strategy between Ezra (Taylor Gray) and Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) before they are interrupted by a holovid from Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker, reprising his Rogue One: A Star Wars Story role), whose militia is known for their extreme methods. The Partisan leader’s message, calling out the cowardice of the Rebellion’s leader for not taking action, is answered by Mon Mothma herself (Genevieve O’Reilly, also reprising her role from Rogue One). The Senator expresses her hopes of reaching a peaceful resolution in the Senate and questions Gerrara’s brutal tactics while Saw continues to push Mothma to take what he would deem to be proper action against the Empire. As the two talk, it is clear that Ezra is taking what each leader says to heart.
You can watch the clip below:
The butting of heads between Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma is just one of many exciting elements to look forward to in the final season of Star Wars Rebels as the Disney XD series grows ever closer to the events depicted in Rogue One and Star Wars: A New Hope.
Star Wars Rebels features the voices of Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan Jarrus, Taylor Gray as Ezra Bridger, Vanessa Marshall as Hera Syndulla, Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, Steven Blum as Zeb Orrelios, David Oyelowo as Agent Kallus, Dee Bradley Baker as Rex, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Keone Young as Commander Sato, Stephen Stanton as AP-5, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Warwick Davis as Ruhk.
Star Wars Rebels airs Mondays on Disney XD.

8 ‘Star Wars’ Spin-Off Movies We Really Want To See
May the 4th be with you, everyone! Even on May the 8th! With Star Wars weekend in the rear-view mirror, it’s still a great time to kick back, get out your old glow-in-the-dark lightsaber toys and Darth Vader Halloween masks, and pop in those original trilogy DVDs. Maybe even all 8 currently-released films, if you’re up for the challenge (both mental and otherwise). Speaking of which, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story just came out on Blu-ray, marking the first home release of many Star Wars spin-off movies to come.
Of these, only one future title has been confirmed – Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, to be released in May of 2018. Beyond that, we know Disney had at least two more planned, and probably more down the line. And why not? The Star Wars universe is so ripe for exploration. There are so many characters we were introduced to in the Saga movies that could easily get their own film. And it doesn’t stop there. The legacy of the Jedi and the Sith go back thousands of years, opening up virtually endless possibilities of story material.
Given this abundance of material just waiting to be tapped into, Heroic Hollywood decided to celebrate the Star Wars holiday by compiling a list of the Star Wars stand-alone movies we’d most like to see. While some of the films on this list are more likely to be developed than others, they each share one unifying factor: they’d all be freakin’ awesome!
