Paramount Pictures has released another clip from the upcoming live-action adaptation of the classic anime Ghost in the Shell as the studio continues to ramp up the marketing campaign as the film gets closer to its release date.
Coming just a day after the studio released the 4-minute building jump scene, the new clip features a scene where The Major (Scarlett Johansson) plugs in her consciousness into the CPU of a captured Geisha robot in order to search the Geisha’s memory but things quickly go awry when something inside the CPU — perhaps a honeypot or even the film’s villain Kuze (Michael Pitt) — sends her into some kind of shock .

The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk, Michael Pitt, Juliette Binoche, Kaori Momoi, Rila Fukushima, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, Tuwanda Manyimo, and Takeshi Kitano. Here’s the official synopsis:
