Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen Transforms Into Negative Flash In New Fan Art

The Flash Grant Gustin The CW Arrowverse coronavirus DC

Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen becomes the Negative Flash in a cool new piece of fan art inspired by the sixth season of the Arrowverse series The Flash.

The sixth season of the The Flash is currently underway on The CW and with Crisis On Infinite Earths about to take over the Arrowverse, anything is possible for Grant Gustin’s titular speedster. As the show continues to get more intense and possibilities of other characters arriving and crossing over continue, The Flash has to keep things more interesting for its viewers. Something that has been heavily rumored is the introduction of Negative Flash on the Grant Gustin series.

For now, we can only imagine what Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen could look like as Negative Flash. This new artwork created by digital artist “_DV_” on Instagram imagines Barry Allen as Negative Flash, something that we’ve yet to see in the Grant Gustin series. You can check out the artwork with Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen below.

In DC Comics lore, speedsters who gained their powers from the Negative Speed Force have given the name “Negative Flash.” Barry Allen was the first person to be dubbed “Negative Flash” after gaining a connection to the extra-dimensional field of negative energy as a result of being trapped inside it by Reverse-Flash.

In the fan art, you can see Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen looking quite corrupted, with the classic dark patterns and scars consuming The Flash, turning him into Negative Flash. Currently, there isn’t confirmation if Negative Flash will appear in the series, but set photos from season six have shown Grant Gustin in a similar light to the fan art above.
