New artwork inspired by Grant Gustin’s The Flash season six puts the spotlight on Barry Allen’s latest superhero suit.
The Flash season six is less than a month away and Grant Gustin’s titular speedster will be back with a brand new suit. Of course, Grant Gustin’s The Flash has gone through many costume changes over the years, and the most recent one was criticized by some fans. One of the biggest complaints was how the cowl looked without the chinstrap, which harkened back to the old comic book look of The Flash. The season six suit that Grant Gustin will be wearing looks like a mix between the one from last season and the earlier seasons by adding back the chinstrap.
We’ve gotten a few looks at Grant Gustin’s new suit already and now a cool piece of fan art from digital artist Dalton Barrett offers a full look at it. You can check out artwork below.

Full details on the sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash are under wraps, though Heroes alum Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the cast at DC Comics villain Bloodwork. In the comics, Bloodwork is a Central City morgue employee and hemophiliac who developed the ability to transform his flesh into blood-like physiology after experimenting with blood properties. The new season has also been teased to include an antagonist who will be the most personal villain Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen has faced since Eobard Thawne.
The sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash will also lead into The CW’s adaptation of the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline and the back-half of the season will deal with the fallout from the five-part crossover event. With Arrow coming to an end this fall after concluding its eight-episode final season, The Flash will also become The CW’s main DC Comics drama and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen will seemingly lead the other Arrowverse superheroes forward.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man
The Flash season six premieres on October 8, 2019 on The CW. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Grant Gustin series!
