‘Guardians 2’: James Gunn Shares Video Of Dance Used For Baby Groot

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' director James Gunn has released footage of himself dancing as reference for Baby Groot's dance during the opening credits.


Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 featured a number of memorable moments, including the opening credits sequence where Baby Groot won over many hearts with his adorable dancing to Electric Light Orchestra’s “Mr. Blue Sky” while his friends battled an inter-dimensional creature. Now, director James Gunn has celebrated the films $800 million worldwide gross by releasing video footage of him dancing that Framestore would be later use as reference for Baby Groot’s own performance.
