During this week’s Heroic Insider, during our twitter questions segment, somebody asked if there are any directors being eyed to direct Green Lantern Corps. Check out the embed below for the answer.

  • MJH

    28:45, guys

    • Caped Baldy

thanks for doing the Lord’s work.

    • Drew Douglas

      Much appreciated.

    • razorstar90

If they want George Miller kick Snyder off and put on Justice League. That movie can still be saved. We might not even get to Green Lantern if the next few DCEU movies fall on their faces.

      • SAMURAI36

The thing people like you don’t seem to understand, is that Snyder is both a director and producer, whereas Miller is just a director.

And whether you like it or not, Snyder has far more pull in this, for that very reason.

This whole “Kevin Feige runs Marvel!!” nonsense that Marvel has been trying to sell really has people’s understanding of this obscured.

        • QTN

To a point you’re right. They’re stuck with Snyder. At least on JL1.

          • SAMURAI36

You’re not listening. The Snyders are the production company for the DCEU. Even if he’s not directing, he’s still producing.

    • Peter James

Have you received your medal yet?

      You should!

    • Greg Johnson

You’re killing his ad revenue model…

      • SAMURAI36

His 2 goobers that he has on there with him is doing that for him.

        • QTN

No need to personally insult people you don’t agree with.

          • SAMURAI36

It’s not just about me not agreeing with them. They don’t add anything of value to his show. They don’t really know much about half the stuff he’s talking about, and they just come off as fanboys.

Not to mention, they are killing the whole presentation that Umberto seems to be going for.

You don’t have to like it, but it’s a legitimate complaint.

      • MJH

Yea, well he’s wasting my time and flooding my newsfeed with the constant retweets of his articles.

At least Collider cuts these videos up into relevant clips most of the time.

      • Axxell

I’d appreciate it more if he’d just make a post telling us everything that’s on the episode instead of this piece-meal blurb.

    • SAMURAI36

LOL, so they wait till almost the end of the segment to post this?

    • Zach Cooper

Thank you! And f**k the author of this ‘news story’ for getting Heroic Hollywood ad revenue off of this page for a freaking Youtube video, instead of actual reporting.

  • LucasM

If you dont want to watch a 30 minutes video… ITS GEORGE MILLER

  • KJ

thank you for the time stamp. i love the scoops and hate to complain but i’m just not going to sit through or try and find the relevant portion of a video to get this information. unable to do that quickly and easily at work.

    • SAMURAI36

It wouldn’t be so bad, if the guys that Umberto rolls with weren’t so terrible. Umberto really has the chance to change the genre with his style and presentation, but he brings those 2 goobers along with him.

Umberto is like the smooth guy at the club that would be getting all the chicks, except he’s hanging around some guys that’s cramping his style.

      • QTN

I think Alter brings good box office perspective. He was the one guy online who believed last year that DEADPOOL would outgross AOCALYPSE. And now that seems likely!

        • SAMURAI36

I have no idea what either film will do, as I’m not much of a follower of that franchise. But that’s still beside the point.

  • KaosNihil

    that would be amazing!

  • Maximillian Pegasus

I rather have George Miller on Superman in 2019.

    • Worldmind

I’d rather have another George Miller Mad Max/Furiosa film

      • SAMURAI36

I’d like that as well, but I definitely want him on a DCEU film though. Not sure if it should be GLC though.

      • Maximillian Pegasus

Mad Max 5 will definitely not have Furiosa in it.

Please be Miller. The GLC by him would be a dream come true. If WB plays their cards right, GLC could spin off into its own thing. It could be their Star Wars.

    • SAMURAI36

The Blackest Night saga definitely needs to come to the big screen, that’s for sure.

Since Ayer is using GL characters in Suicide Squad (Tattooed Man), Ayer should direct Green Lantern Corps. Let George Miller do Justice League 2.

    Justice League – Zack Snyder
The Flash – Lord & Miller
    Aquaman – James Wan
Green Lantern Corps – David Ayer
Justice League 2 – George Miller
