Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s 2014 action spy comedy based on the comic series The Secret Service wrapped production last September with the film slated to release later this fall. While the plot is still is still under wraps as an official synopsis has not been released we do know the film will have a pertinent global theme as teased by the film’s star Taryn Egerton. In addition to Egerton, the film will also see the return of cast members from the first film including Mark Strong, and somehow Colin Firth who (spoiler alert) was killed rather abruptly after the wild church massacre. Hopefully, we’ll also get some more of Eggsy’s dog, little Jack Bauer as well.
The sequel also features a healthy amount of A-list stars joining the cast including Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry who just recently shared a behind the scenes look at her character in a London alley on Twitter.

Berry is playing Ginger, the head of the Statesmen (the CIA) which should be a refreshing antidote to the male-led Kingsman introduced in the first film. The sequel will also feature Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal, Vinnie Jones, and pop legend Sir Elton John.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theaters October 6, 2017.
