‘Star Wars’: Ron Howard & Jon Kasdan Keep Warm On ‘Han Solo’ Set

Han Solo Ron HowardOn the set of the Untitled Han Solo Movie, it seems that the nights can get a little cold when you’re in a galaxy far, far away. Ron Howard once again took to Twitter today to share a cheeky moment behind the scenes.

In this tweet, Howard and screenwriter Jon Kasdan are using a hollowed-out R2 droid unit to start a fire and keep warm.

Check out his tweet below:

This seems like the sort of image that might make C-3PO say “I have a bad feeling about this.” Either way, it makes another fun addition to the images Howard has shared so far.

Details on the Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story’s plot are currently unknown, though the film will chronicle the adventures of the smuggler during his youth and will include his first meeting with Chewbacca and how came to possess the Millennium Falcon.

Written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan, The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Michael K. Williams and Ian Kenny.

The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on May 25, 2018.

7 Green Lantern Stories We’d Love To See Adapted For The Big Screen

Previous1 of 8

Green Lantern CorpsThere were no major Green Lantern characters in Justice League, but the hero is eventually set to hit the big screen again in 2020 with Green Lantern Corps. The real mystery is what kind of Lantern stories will the movie have and who will wield a ring? The only thing I know is it’s not a good idea to wait for Ryan “Deadpool” Reynolds to mutter the Green Lantern oath on the big screen anytime soon.

There are so many stories and unique Green Lanterns the movie could draw from, so at the end of the day I hope the material is treated with the respect it deserves.  It took some hard work, but I whittled my favorite stories down to this list of seven easily adaptable arc that show off some of the action and emotion Green Lantern has to offer. Don’t expect to recommend any simple origin stories here, though — man-oh-man am I tired of seeing those.
