One of the legendary composers in Hollywood is Hans Zimmer as he is no stranger to the world of superhero movies with films such as the Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
However, after Batman v Superman, the composer decided to retire from the superhero genre, but it appears that Zimmer might be game to return the world of superheroes. In a new interview with Inverse, Zimmer spoke about what it would take for him to be willing to score another superhero film as the script would have to be amazing.
“Ron Howard actually said something very smart to me. He said, “Don’t say you will never do a superhero movie again, wait for somebody to turn up with an amazing script for a superhero movie.” And I suppose that’s what I’m saying: Can I please have the amazing script? It just did my brain in to have written Christian Bale as Batman, and suddenly it’s Ben Affleck [in *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*]. And it felt like I was betraying everything Christian had done. So there’s a certain amount of loyalty attached to those movies, as well.”

Actors Who Could Portray Nightwing In His Standalone Film
Dick Grayson is one of the most iconic characters in the DC universe. Since the character’s debut in 1940, Grayson aka Robin went on to become Nightwing and also stepped into the shoes of Batman, when Bruce Wayne was rumored to be dead. Despite his comics status, the character has had a rather difficult time on-screen. Apart from the early movie serials, and the iconic 1960s Batman TV show, Grayson has struggled to appear on screen as a serious film character. His portrayal by Chris O’Donnell in Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever and Batman & Robin was met with a mixed, to negative response from critics and fans. Ironically, the only Grayson performance that has been rather well received was Michael Cera’s performance in this month’s animated comedy, The LEGO Batman Movie.
Following the success of that film, it was revealed that Chris McKay (director of The LEGO Batman Movie) would helm a live-action Nightwing film, set within the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Previously, Grayson was set to appear on TNT’s Titans TV show, before that seemed to be cancelled. With a new film based on the character in the works, it left us over at Heroic Hollywood wondering; who could play this iconic role?
