For an entire generation of fans, actress Emma Watson will always be known as the intrepid, intelligent and resourceful Hermoine Granger of the Harry Potter films. However, amid the buildup for her role as Belle in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and her commendable work for gender equality, Watson has been relatively quiet regarding her thoughts on continuation of the Harry Potter series with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Now, the actress has taken to Twitter to share her thoughts on the film and received a warm response from the one who started the entire Harry Potter franchise.

Watson posted her reaction to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on, asking fans if they had loved the film as much as she did. Check out the post below!

Not long after Watson shared her thoughts, author and screenwriter J. K. Rowling responded with a simple but heartwarming message. Check it out below!

Rowling will return to write all four sequels to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Directed by David Yates and written by J. K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray, Faith Wood-Blagrove and Colin Farrell.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is now playing in theaters!
