‘Hellboy’ Reboot Adds Sophie Okonedo, Brian Gleeson & Alistair Petrie

Hellboy Sophie Okonedo, Brian Gleeson & Alistair PetrieThe upcoming Hellboy reboot from Lionsgate and Millenium Films starring Stranger Things star David Harbour has added a new trio into the mix as Sophie Okonedo, Brian Gleeson and Alistair Petrie have joined the cast.

Okonedo is set to play Lady Hatton, a resident seer at the ancient English club dedicated to uncovering supernatural mysteries known as the Osiris Club with Petrie cast in the role of Lord Adam Glaren, a high-ranking member at the club. Gleeson has joined the film as Merlin, a wizard.

In addition to David Harbour as Hellboy, Okonedo, Gleeson, and Petrie join Ian McShane as Hellboy’s adoptive father, American Honey breakout Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) as Ganeida, Daniel Dae Kim as Major Ben Daimio, and Milla Jovovich as the film’s villain, the Blood Queen.

Lionsgate will be distributing the Millennium Films production with Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin producing. Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment will also produce. Principal photography is underway taking place in both the UK and Bulgaria. Production is expected to last for another four months.

The film is being directed by Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones).
