Showrunner Reveals New Look At Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ Season 2

The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming second season of the Henry Cavill series.

The first season of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of The Witcher divided critics but worked for audiences and fans of the fantasy series created by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. Production for The Witcher‘s second season was well underway but, like many other films and series, was shut down due to concerns over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This, however, has not stopped showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich from teasing fans of the Henry Cavill series.

In a recent post, TLauren S. Hissrich offered fans a fresh behind-the-scenes look at the second season of Henry Cavill’s The Witcher. Based on her description, the photo was taken shortly before the series was shut down and shows Henry Cavill shooting his scenes as Geralt of Rivia. You can check out the photo below.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.
