If you are a Heroes and The Flash fan, then you are about to experience the best of both worlds with this piece of news. Mashable reports that Greg Grunberg has been recruited to join the third ongoing season of The Flash in a recurring role, starting with next week’s episode which was directed by Kevin Smith.
“Grunberg plays Detective Tom Patterson, who makes his debut in Season 3, episode 7, “Killer Frost,” airing Nov. 22. A gruff, stalwart figure at Central City Police Department, Det. Patterson is unwavering in his commitment to protecting Central City from the dangerous metas that threaten it.”
Grunberg is best known for his role as Matt Parkman, one of the main characters on the super-powered series Heroes as well as the mini-event series, Heroes Reborn. He is also co-hosting a show with Smith right now called Geeking Out, hence the connection for next week’s episode.
