According to Le Journal de Montréal (via ComicBook.com), X-Men: Apocalypse is headed back to Montreal in January for reshoots. They’ll spend a few weeks shooting at Mel’s Studio, the same location production used earlier this year for principal photography. Reshoots are common, but it was something else hidden in the story that is catching everyone’s attention.
Le Journal de Montréal additionally reports that “it seems that Hugh Jackman will be on hand” for the reshoots. Interestingly, Fox has yet to make Jackman’s involvement in the film official.
Reports suggested during principle photography back in June that Jackman would be involved in some capacity. Reports further stated that a prop was created for Jackman for X-Men: Apocalypse.
We don’t yet know what Jackman will be doing for the reshoots. But we will keep you up to date on the reshoots as they begin.
What do you think of Jackman possibly being involved in reshoots for Apocalypse?
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.
