‘X-Men’ Star Hugh Jackman Suits Up In Classic Wolverine Costume In Incredible Fan Art

X-Men star Hugh Jackman gets the classic Wolverine costume from the comics in an awesome new piece of fan art.

Hugh Jackman has left the role of Wolverine behind him, but his legacy continues to live on. Unfortunately, we never got a proper chance to see Hugh Jackman with the iconic yellow and black Wolverine suit in 20th Century Fox’s live-action X-Men series. The iconic Wolverine costume was teased in the extended edition of The Wolverine, but it was saddening that X-Men star Hugh Jackman never put it on. Fans clearly wanted to see X-Men star Hugh Jackman wearing the classic Wolverine costume, but since we never got it, Daniel Savage has taken up the task of creating fan art that showcases what he could have looked like with the outfit.

You can check out the artwork of X-Men star Hugh Jackman with the classic Wolverine costume below.

Obviously, this is the closest thing we’ll get to seeing X-Men star Hugh Jackman wear the classic Wolverine costume. Hugh Jackman famously retired from the role of Wolverine in 2017 after the release of James Mangold’s Logan. With the X-Men and other Marvel properties now in the hands of Disney, perhaps we’ll one day see another actor take on the role of Wolverine and wear the classic suit.

What do you think of Hugh Jackman wearing the classic Wolverine costume? Sound-off in the comments section and stay tuned for the latest news on Hugh Jackman, Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men!

Directed by James Mangold, Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Patrick Stewart, Stephen Merchant, Boyd Holbrook, and Richard E. Grant. The X-Men film is available now on Digital HD, 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
