‘Incredibles 2’ Is The Most Viewed Animated Film Trailer In History

The Incredibles 2 teaser trailer has quickly made history as the most viewed animated film trailer of all time, needing only two days to claim the record.

The highly anticipated film, a sequel to Pixar’s 2004 film The Incredibles, debuted its first trailer this past Saturday on College Gameday. It has since amassed over 113 million views, first all time for animated films and seventh overall.

The first film was a critical and commercial hit, grossing over $633 million worldwide with a 97% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Incredibles 2 intends to pick up immediately after the first one, per the official synopsis below:

“It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again — which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”

In addition to Samuel L. Jackson returning as the voice of Frozone, Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Sarah Vowell will be reprising their roles as Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Violett Parr, respectively. Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles. The film hits theaters on June 15, 2018.

Fans have been waiting 13 years for this sequel. Are you excited for Incredibles 2 after watching the trailer? Sound off below!
