‘Avengers: Infinity War’: Tom Holland Wants Spider-Man To Meet Shuri

Tom Holland Spider-Man Shuri Infinity WarTom Holland, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man is excited for the webhead to interact with more Avengers and other characters within the MCU. In fact, one character that Holland really wants Spider-Man to interact with is with T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri from Black Panther.

Letitia Wright reprises her breakout role as arguably the most intelligent character in the MCU in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Although it is uncertain that we will see her interact with Spider-Man, Holland is hopeful that they will have the opportunity to meet and become friends whenever Peter pays a visit to Wakanda:

“I think Peter would love it. There’s some great moments in the comics where Peter ends up there. And Letitia and I have become really good friends over the last year and a bit. It would be brilliant to have our characters meet up, it would be so funny. She’s brilliant in the movie, she’s actually my favorite part of Black Panther.”

Based off of Holland’s comments, Peter and Shuri would likely bond over their shared passion for science and their excitement in being involved in all of the heroic action. After all, with Kevin Feige announcing that we will be seeing more of Shuri in the MCU’s future, maybe she will end befriending Spider-Man. Who knows? Maybe she will have yet another “broken white boy” to fix if Peter is horrifically injured while visiting Wakanda.

Here is the synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War:
