‘The Inhumans’ Pilot Director Tests Out IMAX Cameras

Inhumans And Agents Of SHIELDA couple of weeks ago, Marvel announced that Admiral director Roel Reine had been tapped to direct the first two episodes of the upcoming ABC series, The Inhumans. Reine tweeted out a photo today where he was testing out IMAX cameras as the two first episodes will be filmed in that format and shown in theaters during the first two weeks of September.

“IMAX And so it begins. Camera testing a digital IMAX camera for our shoot. Especially wide angle lenses. Very cool format!”

With the show reportedly getting close to starting production in Los Angeles, Chicago as well as Hawaii, hopefully there will be casting announcements for Black Bolt and the Royal Family members. Scott Buck, who is the show-runner on the upcoming Marvel series on Netflix, Iron Fist, will be running this show as well which will be joining the 2017-2018 TV Season.

“The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.”

Marvel’s The Inhumans is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 26 on ABC – no official timeslot has been given yet. The two first episodes will be available in theaters on September 4.
