It’s been a week since we found out that an Inhumans television series is heading to ABC, but we now have a few more details on what we can expect from the project, which will arrive in the fall of 2017 after making its debut in over 1000 IMAX theaters.
While initial reports suggested that the eight-episode series would be entirely shot with IMAX digital cameras, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that it will just be the first two episodes that will be fully filmed in the format. There will also be a few subsequent action sequences that will utilize the technology, including certain scenes that “will be set on the moon,” which is where the fictional Inhuman city of Attilan is located in the comics.
Another thing that we do know about the series is that it will follow Black Bolt and the rest of the Inhuman royal family. The report mentions that the series hasn’t begun casting yet, which means that it’s going to be a while until we hear some solid casting news regarding these characters. That’s pretty much all for now, but we’ll keep you updated when more information on the Inhumans TV series comes along.
Marvel’s The Inhumans will debut in IMAX theaters on September 4, 2017.
