‘Injustice 2’: Grodd Actor From ’The Flash’ Is Voicing Doctor Fate

Doctor Fate Gorilla Grodd The Flash Injustice 2Yesterday it was announced by the official Injustice 2 social media pages that DC Comics’ Doctor Fate would be joining the line-up of playable heroes in the sequel to Injustice: God Among Us. However, we didn’t know who would be voicing him, until today and it’s someone that DC fans will recognize.

David Sobolov, who is the voice of Gorilla Grodd on The CW series, The Flash, announced this morning that he will be voicing the powerful sorcerer in the Injustice 2 game. This was a big week for Sobolov’s character on The Flash as the show just finished up its two-part Gorilla Grodd storyline that featured a visit to Gorilla City before the final battle took place on Earth-1. You can check out the new gameplay trailer for Doctor Fate that was released yesterday below.

Some of the new characters that have been announced so far are: Kara Zor-El a.k.a. Supergirl, Jaime Reyes a.k.a. Blue Beetle, Dinah Laurel Lance a.k.a. Black Canary, Floyd Lawton a.k.a. Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus Damian Wayne a.k.a. Robin, Poison Ivy, Swamp Thing, Cyborg, Darkseid and Brainiac.

“Injustice 2 is the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us that allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, players can personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. Additionally, for the first time, gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.”

Injustice 2 will be available to both the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system as well as Xbox One on May 16.
