‘Injustice 2’ Story Details Incoming; New Teaser Released

Injustice 2 Official Release DateThe Injustice 2 Twitter page has revealed some cryptic new images and teasers hinting at story details in the coming week. Both tweets are extremely grim, in keeping with the style of the first game’s opening.

The two quotes including with the teasers are as follows:

“The Lines Are Redrawn.
Find out more 01.17.2017”

“A new threat approaches… stay tuned on January 17 for more Injustice 2.”

January 17th seems to be the day we’ll learn more about the upcoming game, perhaps “The Lines Are Redrawn” indicates a Civil War style plot? Regardless, looks like some deaths are approaching. Superman appears to be holding a dead woman in a bridal gown, maybe Lois once more? Wonder Woman will be playable, as will Supergirl, so we’re not sure who else it would be. Going the Lois Lane route would be a bit strange however, as that was the focal point of the first game. Granted, I have faith the story and the game will live up to the hype.

The teaser features Supergirl landing in rubble, but we’re unclear as to who the new threat is. Again, we’re likely to find out more about all of this in the coming week.

Injustice 2 was recently announced for a May 16th, 2017 release date. The game will be playable on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Injustice2 is gonna be the game of the year (again)!!

“Injustice 2” looks like a game of the year contender for sure, but if “The Last of Us 2” gets released this year, might be a bit hard to beat that.

Agreed. LOU wasn’t my cup of tea, but I can definitely see why it’s so popular. And yes, if LOU2 drops this year, then Injustice2 will have strong competition.,

    Here’s what I want from Injustice 2:

BALANCE YOUR GOSH-DARN ( heh) GAMEPLAY.

My biggest gripe with Injustice was that certain imbalance issues were never addressed, so you’d get maniacs spamming Deathstroke and Joker ranged attacks in succession, not only winning almost all matches, but overall making the game so very freaking boring.

I found that there were ways to get around characters like DS and Batgirl (who, even though she was an awesome character in the game, got really annoying).

I was able to get around DS with my WW. And my Flash was more than a contender for Batgirl.

I never had that much of a problem fighting Joker, though. Bane gave me issues too.
